The intermezzi ensemble (est. 2024) is a brand new facet of Chicago’s orchestral scene. An orchestra for the next generation, i.e. is composed of the region's top, young musicians. We are all about presenting passionate and exciting performances of great music of all time periods, and taking accessibility to classical music for the community to the next level: with inspiring concerts, easy-to-understand program notes (in multiple languages), and flexible “pay what you can” tickets!
